Battle of Kanzhal
1708 Circassian victory over Crimean Tatars
The Kanzhal War or Crimean-Circassian War of 1708 was military conflict in 1708 fought between Circassians led by Kurghoqo Hatokhshoqo and Crimean Khanate alongside its allies led by Qaplan I Giray, which resulted in Circassian victory. It played a big role in decreasing foreign influence in Circassia.
