Offensivoperation des Zweiten Koalitionskriegs (1799)
Am 25. September 1799 überschritt die französische Donauarmee unter Massena bei Dietikon die Limmat. In der anschliessenden Zweiten Schlacht bei Zürich unterlag die russische Besatzung der Stadt unter Korsakow und musste über den Rhein fliehen.
