日本の八丈小島に存在した風土病
八丈小島のマレー糸状虫症（はちじょうこじまのマレーしじょうちゅうしょう）とは、伊豆諸島南部の八丈小島（東京都八丈町）にかつて存在したリンパ系フィラリア症を原因とする風土病である。この風土病は古くより八丈小島および隣接する八丈島では「バク」と呼ばれ、島民たちの間で恐れられていた。
