Lo sètge d'Autariba se debanèt en 1226 durant la Crosada deis Albigés. Aprofichant la retirada francesa durant la malautiá de Loís VIII, Ramon VII ataquèt la garnison francesa isolada d'Autariba. Lei Francés preferiguèron negociar l'abandon de la vila en cambi de la libertat.
