Belagerung Colombos
Die Belagerung Colombos (1655–1656) hatte zum Ziel, die Stadt auf der Insel Ceylon zu erobern, die unter portugiesischer Kontrolle stand. Belagerer war die Niederländische Ostindien-Kompanie (VOC), die vom singhalesischen Königreich Kandy unterstützt wurde. Am 12. Mai 1656 gaben die Portugiesen auf.
