The Siege of Gyula was a prolonged Ottoman siege of the Hungarian fortress of Gyula in 1566, part of Suleiman I's last campaign. The fortress was an important Habsburg defensive stronghold in eastern Hungary and represented a key point in the frontier system between Habsburg and Ottoman territories.
