The second nearest rich cluster after Virgo, in the southern sky: about 60 large galaxies round the elliptical NGC 1399.
Placed by its redshift, at the distance the expansion has carried it to by now; the dots around it are galaxies of the 2MASS and SDSS surveys, placed the same way.

Fornax Cluster
The Fornax Cluster is a cluster of galaxies lying at a distance of 19 megaparsecs (62 million light-years). It has an estimated mass of (7±2)×1013 solar masses, making it the second richest galaxy cluster within 100 million light-years, after the considerably larger Virgo Cluster. It may be associated with the nearby Eridanus Group.
