In the air
US airport delays
The FAA’s live airport status, pinned on the map: which US airports have a ground stop or a delay programme running right now.
What you see
- A pin at each US airport with a delay programme in force.
- Click one for the airport and the programmes running: ground stops, ground delays, and arrival or departure delays, with a link to the FAA.
Where the data comes from
- FAA NAS StatusThe Federal Aviation Administration’s national airspace status, as published at nasstatus.faa.gov.
The FAA status is read every 2 minutes, and the map checks for changes every 5.
Good to know
- United States only: the FAA publishes this for US airports.
- Airports with nothing running are not shown, so an empty map is good news.
